Nice badges Mike. Never seen a back like the cadets badge before, any idea how it was attached?

I've not got a clue to be honest? I can't really see any method of attachment at all...that's what made me wonder, albeit slightly tongue in cheek, if it was some novelty thing that came free in a cornflakes packet!!
Only thing I can think of is that something pushed onto the bit that sticks out at the back of the badge maybe?
Is the ACF badge quite scarce? I can't say I've seen a plastic one before, not that I've looked that much, wasn't sure it was real at first. It's quite a small thing too, actually thought it might of been for a collar when I first looked at it.
Like a fool I traded away my South Staffs, but I have this one and some others I will try to find.

Should have said. Reverse is marked "1-A", " prov. pat.", "A Stanley & Sons Walsall" Both fixing blades present.

I really like these badges and recently picked up my first one. Nothing too fancy, just a General Service Corps badge!
Nice badge Pete.
Great start Robbob, complete with blades. Nothing shabby about this badge.

Stanley made Women's Land Army proficiency Badge.
Awarded for skill and aptitude in many diverse activities from live stock rearing to tractor maintenance. I believe around 25 000 were produced by A Stanley and Sons.
These are the sellers (Australian) images and I should have it early next week.
From the prices I've seen for these in the UK I would assume they are not so common.
All the best
Dave
