A rather uncommon pilot wing by 'Orber', who's name was scrubbed,
possibly after their dies were shared with another company
or companies for the war effort.........

This high quality wing is by 'Amico' - American Insignia Co. It is similar
in design to the second pattern L.G. Balfour wings. This style was
also used by N.S. Meyer.........

A pin back pilot wing in sterling by 'Gemsco N.Y.' - This is not one of the nicest looking
designs, IMO, but instantly recognisable. Gemsco continues to manufacture
US military insigia today.........

Heavy, sterling marked clutch back pilot wing by A.E. Co. This particular wing
is featured on page 78 of Jon A. Maguire's 'Silver Wings, Pinks And Greens'
and is characterized by the die flaw on the reverse. I have given it
the name ''Maguire No. 5''.........
