A nicely detailed pin back wing in a pleasing pattern. This design is attributed
to the Bell Manufacturing Co. It is marked only 'Sterling'.........

"Sterling" marked pin back pilot wing in a rather naive design,
    which is actually quite common.........

Beautifully designed Senior pilot wing, marked only 'Sterling' on the reverse
of the shield. Possibly made by 'A.H. Dondero', Washington.........

An extremely well made and handsome pilot wing. Marked only 'Sterling',
it is one of the better designs, IMO.........

A very radical wing design, this pattern is most likely pre-WWII
possibly from the late 1920's into the 1930's. It is unmarked
and non-sterling with a pin back.........

Hey Gary ! I've collected these over a span of about 15 years.........!

As you may know, almost everything is faked these days, and U.S. wings are no exception.
N.S. Meyer and a couple of other companies are making re-strikes or fakes of WWII
U.S. wings that can be quite difficult to detect if you are a novice. Many sellers
do not know the eras in which a certain style of wing was made. One way to
tell, is if the wing has any numbers on the back. If so, it could have been
made in the late 1950's or it could be of current manufacture.........
