Hi William, thanks. Clear and functional.
Hi, this is just remarkable.
Royal mail works great and package is in Portugal for 2 days now but has not been delivered yet. Reason?? 1.
GLS of course. Tracking number, reports that the package is in Germany!!!!! GLS Portugal performs the worst service i have ever seen.
Hi, they have finally arrived.
Just amazing British quality.
Cheers

Great binos. I have a 1943 dated AM pair and their Army brothers.
Hi Nuno, Nice pair of glasses and even nicer Bino Case. A bit of info which you may find of interest. The number 6E293 is what is termed the RAF Domestic Section and Reference. Section "6" refers to Instruments, "E" is the Sub Section (Binoculars and associated spares etc.). "293" is the item Reference Number. Domestic Section and Reference Numbers have been largely phased out in favour of NATO Codification. It is common to see a Domestic Section and Sub Section followed by the 7 digit NATO reference. The full NATO number is 13 digits long and the last 7 are the actual item number. Be very wary of any "WWII" items with a 7 digit reference (GB, German, US even Ausi etc)as they are almost cerainly post war NATO codified. RAF WWII references are usually three or 4 digit but may be as low as 2 and as high as 5. Hope this is of interest. Regards Michael R
