    Question 3-Legged folding stool.

Hello all, it's been quite a while since I posted last. I has hoping someone could help me to identifying this stool. There are no marking as too if it's military or not, I was just thinking it is due to the paint job and how the legs fold up to take less room. Thank you for the help.

Looks like an ironing board for shirts to me, the thin end being for the sleeves? Not really my area of expertise, but the colour and fasteners shouts US army to me.
