American Red Cross bandage

I´m a serious colletor of items relating to the Finnish Winter war against the Soviet Union in 1939-1940. I recentky picket up this piece of cotton bandage with the text "Compliments AMERICAN RED CROSS Chapter". Could it be period made and part of the U.S. help to Finnish forces in that war. Personally I find the letters in the text look like beeing of a later type??? Is there anybody out there who could enlighten me on this one.

Hi Jan, I am not sure what aid Finland recieved during the Winter War from the US, but I don't see why not?
