Can anyone help us with exactly what this is? I believe it is a bench for a hand crank radio generator but have yet to find another example. Ran across one that was similar but had the generator bolted right to the seat and the seat did not appear to be wooden and also had some long ovals cut out of it, probably to reduce weight, or if plastic, to provide strength.

EDIT: I probably should have provided a bit of a description, behound just the photos: It has a 1 inch angle iron welded frame, looks to be carbon steel and the top is 1/2 inch plywood - looks to be 5 ply...real good stuff..and is riveted on. Measures 27 inches long and 8 inches wide (widest piint) and 4 inches wide at the narrow. It probably weighs 10-12 pounds. It stands about 14 inches. Looks to be original paint

Any help would be greatly appreciated, what it is, what it matches up to eta etc?

I'm sure you've seen them, they wear the urban camo; random patterns of black and white.

Then we have the white snow cammo as worn by these British White; but PLEASE don't try milking them!!

In actuality, I believe that this is simply a cobbler's or shoemaker's bench....It may or may not be a military boot repairman's bench. William
