    Default ARP Bag?

Can anyone identify this bag for me please, the only thing I could think of was an WW2 ARP bag mainly because of the colour & number on the front. There are no dates or makers names only the numbers that are in the pics'.
    Thanks.

Bit of an odd one..sorry no idea!Is it made from canvas or webbing?I initially thought it was a 37 pattern large pack dyed black.Which it isnt.
The number on the strap looks like a service number..if so, it would be an R.A.S.C. number.
    Im just guessing here!

Thanks for your reply, I would say it's made of canvas in the style of like you said the large pack but not the thicker webbing.

Post war Dutch? Just an idea as a lot of their stuff were 'nearly' 1937 pattern items.

As far as I know - ARP bags tended to be over the shoulder style satchels rather than the two-strapped rucksack style?
