When I was in the Reserve many moons ago, we were going to Canungra QLD for the annual camp and were told by the platoon sgt to make sure we brought along a housewife to maintain uniforms and replace buttons-this was a puzzle to me as I'd never heard the term before (for a sewing kit!).

These are what I'll part with. Any one interested PM me or if I have to I'll whack them in the classifieds only if there is interest- I had no intention to sell these!
I have to add that I've sold out what I have post as what I'd pass off.
I'd like to keep the majority for now and plus -- I'm greedy

Mine has arrived today- many thanks Rene. Very pleased with my little kit and the first Aussie example I've ever seen. Full write up on my blog some time next week.

    I love bakelite bits too.
They are real good with salt, pepper and lots of butter.
