These two items came, bizarrely, from the place I work. Both were found in cabinets due to be scrapped and were waiting to be emptied and the contents disposed of. The helmet I found a couple of years ago and the medic bag just last month. Both are dated 1942. I had to liberate them......

Not militaria related but I also found a box containing a couple of hundred Victorian and Edwardian envelopes all stamped and addressed, there were only a few letters still remaining in the envelopes but it was still a good find. One letter that did remain was from the Marquis of Bath on headed Longleat House paper dated from the 1890s!
I have no idea of the value but I'll stick them on eBay eventually.
