Bino opinion

What do you guys think about the blackfinish of this bino? Repaint or original?

Definitely repaint. Nice that the info was not painted over.........

These things had a long service life so its no surprise they were repainted..no doubt the optics were cleaned, scuffs ect painted over and they were pressed back into service.I have a pair that have been repainted and it seems to be fairly common.This type was filled with some sort of gas to prevent mildew on the optics.It was put into where the red screw plugs are.
