    I have Indian anklets with both cloth & leather re-inforcements, but with metal tips on the straps. Unfortunately the stamp is unreadable and none of the metal parts are dated.

    Nice anklets earlymb! The metal tips on the closure straps makes me think they were made in 1942 or earlier. It looks like the leather crescents are attached with a different colored thread, could it have been added later?
