British gas mask spectacles , WWI?
Hi All, Recently I have added to my goggle collection by getting some Gasmask Spectacles. Now I know the difference between WWI and WWII German 'Masken Brille', with the long shank and stubby arms respectively. I also have a couple of pairs of British Gasmask spectacles; the ones with the vertically flat arms . These are always described as WWII issue.
Did the British have specific gasmask specs in WWI?
Regards
Steve
