Rene, I have a matching Canadian pair. It is interesting to note that these Canadian pouches still have the cartridge holders in the top of the pouch long after the British dropped them.
These are also the correct pouches that attach to the Bergen Rucksack.
Cheers Roger, it appears that they dropped them sometime in '43.
