French backpack pre WW2? Vet bring back.

Hey guys! My friend gave me this backpack. His dad was in the liberation of France U.S. Army. He was stationed in France till 1947/1948. I trust my friends info as he has nothing to gain from making things up. From my reaserch this backpack is made from a French camping company, that has been around since 1930. It looks like the bag is based off our 10th mountian backpack..? I assume this bag is made for export as it is marked "made in France".

So my big question is this a pre WW2 bag or a post war bag? Any idea of how to date it? Very little info out there, I translated the writing but nothing useful?

So safe to say prewar? Or was the model 1936 made post war too?

So from reasearch seems this model was made till the 1970s. Any idea how to date these?
