Default Help with ID'ing a US bag from WW1 Period - possible blanket bag. Watervliet Arsenal

    Hi Forum,

I was looking for some help in identifying this bag that came in with a lot of WW1 Doughboy equipment. It is stamped Watervliet Arsenal. I thought it looked similar to the M1874 blanket bag, but obviously the design is different, perhaps a later modification?

    Many thanks

    Paul

It can be attached to the back pack.
