I got this grenade from my father in law. He landed on Omaha Beach 6/24/44 with 3rd Armored Division, 36th Armored Infantry Regiment and fought through France, Belgium and Germany. He was an amateur photographer and most of his vet bring back items were Zeiss binoculars and Leica cameras. I'm just curious if this grenade is indeed WWII era ordnance. It looks good to me, maybe the cotter pin and ring are wrong. They're old and have a nice patina but that means nothing. The body is marked AR, the spoon has a diamond with a B inside, and there is FC on the cap. Thanks for looking.
