    Hi mates.I have a small problem with my MkV gas mask's hose.I has got small blisters lately.I think that this happened because i keep it in a closed drawer.Second after a fast web search i cant managed to find a MkV with the makers mark outside the circle as in mine.Any help will be useful.Many thanks MkV hose problemMkV hose problemMkV hose problem

    Stop wearing it in the bath.

    not sure what has caused this other than maybe high temperatures ,have you anywhere you can place this mask so its in a more stable environment temperature wise ,i suppose if its in a drawer it wont be affected by daylight

    Seriously though, you can help it by giving it a light dusting in chalk or unperfumed talc and storing it in acid free tissue paper in a cool place. This will give it a little support and keep it stabilised.
