Gents,
Here is a recent pick up. Not really my field of expertise. However, thought it was neat and had an opportunity to purchase it. What makes this unique is the fact that it has the period rounds included. (Though the primers show that they have been fired, I'm led to believe that the shells have been reloaded with power and bullets replaced.) This pouch was made by: Watervliet Arsenal out of New York and is also stamped, "16" and the letter "D" on the enclosure flap. It is my assumption that it was issued to the 16th Infantry D Co.
Thank you in advance for any additional information you can provide.
Regards,
Joel
