    I recommend the 1st volume. It covers more on uniforms, headgear, field-gear, weapons.....etc

    Thanks for the book info Taka it looks familiar I think my brother has both copies must get around to picking one up this stuff was all over the surplus stores when I grew up in the 50's 60's and we just bought a lot of it for a little of nothing to use for "Camping" hunting, fishing etc. I have some mess wear I bought I will get around to posting. timothy
