Article about: Found this under my stepdads barn, I collect german, so I don't know what it is I just Noticed the navy symbol. Any ideas?

    It's likely an American product. Post WWII US buckle items
    are sometimes seen with an anchor.........

    Agreed-probably American. If it was found under a barn, it's likely from a harness strap or some other leather horse tack.

    On hardware like this, the anchor usually indicates the item is made of brass, it has no military meaning.
