btw "crowned" CF - means post-war Danish civil defense issue item - surplus item.

made by the british in 1943, sold to Denmark and used by them post-war for civil defense.

ya i know it was a gas mask bag but i was wondering if like the us wwii gas mask bags if they where known to ditch the gas masks and use it as a general purpose bag and i am also wondering what this item is worth

I just purchased this exact style of bag on the weekend mine is a C-Broad arrow stamped Canadian issued bag dating as well from 1943 and I paid five dollars for mine if that is any help.

I once bought one for a dollar, and a guy gave me one about
12 years ago. He used it for CD's - they fit perfectly.........!
