just noticed i didnt put pictures up haha there up now thanks for the help in advance
I think it could very well be a genuine US Army table, but it has been repainted,
which is kind of a shame - but it probably needed it ! - I can see paint daubed
on the webbing straps. IMO, it should be a nice deep shade of Olive Drab.
There may be a maker or some other info impressed into the wood,
and if so, may be hard to read because of the repaint.........
Regards,
Steve.
thanks for the info it defantly has been repainted there u can see some of the original olive drab pain under some of the pieces when they fold ill look for a imprint of a makers mark and ill let you know i plan on painting it next weekend
If you haven't bought paint yet, you can buy paint that faithfully replicates WWII OD
in spray cans, which is quite fast and easy if you prep the table well before
you start - the colours are #34087 (early) or #33070 (late war) .
Available from most military vehicle parts dealers.........

Steve.
'Beechwood Canvas' should have it. Depends where you are located
- there are quite a few dealers all over the US.

Steve.
What a great find, very likely what you and others believe it is. I would imagine most of these were turned in to fire wood and not so easy to find anymore!
