need help with a WWII multi purpose ammo bag

i just got this in and i was wondering how you can tell if the difference between the strap on this and the musette bag strap also if this is the right strap for this bag

It is fine: the strap is the same.

thanks for that i thought they were the same when i saw them when i was looking them up before i bought this bag but i saw some sites that said they where different thanks for the info

Nice bag.I'm still trying to find one that isnt OD7.
There is another type of general purpose strap which is the same as the one you pictured but it has two snap hooks on the end.

thanks i saw this one on ebay and jumped on it it was only $70 with shipping which i thought was a good deal but im not sure but i realy liked the look of it and now it will be displayed in my WWII room and used at my reenactments were you liking for a strap or bag that wasn't OD7 if it was the bag there are a couple on ebay but there going for like $100
