Hi mates!I would love to have your opinion about the following topic.I have a pair of pattern 37 ammo pouches, which is a gift from my Good friend Douglas. One is the MarkIII standard pattern and dated 1942 and the other is dated 1944 with the Quick Release closure. Can I put them to my p37 belt or they are a bit odd together?.Many Thanks for your time and help

Depends what you're after-armies are big on uniformity (at least inside a unit) but then again you might see some mix and match in a field unit depending on availability of replacement equipment.

For most display purposes not really-as I said armies like things to be matching but if you want to say the later pattern pouch is a field replacement (until you can get a matching one) then that's OK.

The quick release version didnt really see any use in ww2...probably more common with the post war occupation forces.Personally i would get another mk3 with the button closure.
