Is it lined with felt then its a compass pouch otherwise it looks original for an ammo pouch.

As Lithgow posted, an original but can't see if it is compass or ammo pouch without the interior shot

Agree with everything thats been said before.
Manufactured by Mills Equipment Co (MECo stamped). Doesn't look like its ever been blancoed either!
As has also been said before, if it's felt/wool lined, its a compass pouch, (both pouches were identical apart from this point), from the pic's, it doesn't look like it's lined.
