A few more bits and pieces including another demitasse cup and saucer. Some are dated 1969 and 1972. I am hoping to find a 'normal' size rising sun cup to go with the larger saucer.

I bet they could tell a tale! I can just imagine some AEME Craftsman working on these in the workshops when the boss was not looking.

I'm still trying to figure out what they made them out of . Either way a neat job.
I did have to clean up the outsides with Brasso as was heavily oxidised & tarnished , so I could check out the engraving method.
It's not something I normally do , but for a unique curio only item , it's come up good.
I do have a real aversion to buying so called " Trench Art " items lol , but these look good to me and I'm happy .

Theyre made from the caps used to protect fuzes in transit/prior to use. They cut off the tops and invert and solder them back in place
The attached image is not mine but shows one fitted

    Thanks mate ,
I thought it might be something like that but was unsure as I don't have one nor ever seen one.
I have german 88 fuze holders , but they are Bakelite material with a screw on base cap in 3 different colours ( Explode timing )
