The back stamp is OK.
But always check for any tampering to the front to see if any date has been removed.
I guess you are interested as I have seen the one for sale too. That one looks fine to me from the pics.
Cheers, Ade.

In the last month or so I have seen three of them for sale. Had concerns someone was making them up. The repo guys are getting so good now its scary. Many Thanks again.
I don't see anyone making the whole tin. These are far too good. As I mentioned before, the main concern would be a tampered with date. I see the E Bay one made £78.
Cheers, Ade.
I have written a small article in this month's Searcher magazine on this subject.
Incidentally, I bought a complete tin Mk. IV emergency ration for the princely sum of £2!
Can anyone explain when / how "Air Ministry Emergency Rations Type S" was used and what its contents were? Also, if anyone has any general information on emergency rations utilised by Bomber Command Crews (1943 / 1945) I would be very interested in hearing from you.
Any help would be much appreciated
Regards
Pete
Hello Pete
I don't know if this will be of any use, but I (also) recently posted a piece on my blog:

Thanks for your response; much appreciated.
What is something like this worth?
Hello Again ... my original blog post has been lost, but I have taken another picture of the ration tin.
