RAF Type P8 compass rebuild

Just thought I'd post a couple of photos of the Type P8 aircraft compass I just finished fixing up. Before and after pics. I'll tell ya, it was a learning experience!

Thanks Hangerman! Yes, I filled it with alcohol. I'm happy with the results.

Great Job. What did you use as a sealant? How messy was it?

I used Permatex silicone windshield and glass sealer. The tube comes with a pointed applicator so it wasn't very messy.
