That officers jacket wouldn't be VN. Looks to be the coat for a WWII summer service uniform.

Actully i bought this from a neighbor who served in vietnam in the early years. The cloth is very expensive material and im thinking its private purchase.
Thanks

Re: Selling Vietnam stuff to my friend
The tunic is proper for Vietnam period officers.
While interesting the value for the items won't be very much.
Just a rough guess would be around $50.00 more or less.
Mayby some of the other members could provide an exact amount.

Re: Selling Vietnam stuff to my friend
I'm thinking the 1st Lt. field jacket with the liner alone would get around $75.00 to $100.00 easily. The service jacket would be another $20.00 to $30.00. None of the other stuff looks to be worth too much. I guess the price depends on, how good of friend is he?
Thanks

Re: Selling Vietnam stuff to my friend
Yeah hes one of those ok friends. I might put in on the classifeads instead so ill ask my mom and then i might sell the uniforms on that cause i dont want to lose a lot of my money if they are worth this much.
Thanks

Re: Selling Vietnam stuff to my friend
$50 sounds like a fair price when selling to your friend who has more interest in this type of thing than you

Re: Selling Vietnam stuff to my friend
The thing is it worth 50$ cause i dont want to have this whole lot worth like 110$ and settle at 50 i might want to bump it to like 75$. So im really selling on the worth if the lot but i might drop the price down a little from what its worth.
Thanks

Re: Selling Vietnam stuff to my friend
I was thinking around $60 or $70. Though if he's a friend,
you'll want to give him a good deal on the lot.........!
