Telescope in leather case

I have just picked up a number of RAF items and amongst the lot was this fold out telescope in a leather case. It appears to be in reallt good condition for its age although I am not certain how old it is. The broad arrow can clearly be seen as well as the makers stamp. I am not a collector of such items and will be listing it for sale in the sales area of the forum when I know more about it. If anyone does know if its ww.2 or not please let me know and I can at least sell as what it is and not what I may like it to be.

Maker is Broadhurst Clarkson.Possibly of WW1 vintage...these seem to fetch a lot of money in good condition.

That's a WWII or immediately post WWII item. Scout Regiment Telescopes are somewhat famous among firearms collectors since they were issued with various Lee Enfield sniper configuration rifles, where the telescopes were used the observer/spotter in a sniper pair.
