U.S Goggles

Article about: G'day all, i recently picked these goggles up at an online auction thinking they might be WW2 G.I but when i received them i saw the Triumph mark? British? Motorbike? any ideas anyone? Cheer

    Difficult to say, but I think these are post-war civilian goggles that were
    probably made by the same companies who made goggles during
    the war. They are not WWII US GI, as every WWII set I've seen
    have black frames. British copies maybe ?


    They could be ski goggles.........

    It's hard to tell in your pic but are the lenses red? I have seen goggles like these before with red lenses for pilots to adjust their eyes for night flying.

    I know that there were US Army 'sun and wind' goggles of this style
    used into the 1970's and 80's.

    Never seen tan frames before, except for these I just found.........!
