Does it have a pair of buckles on the back? It looks very much like 51 patt Canadian: https://hatchfive.wordpress.com/2017...-webbing-belt/
No, there are no buckles to the back. Or marks where they have been removed either.
I for some reason was thinking South American. But I have no idea why.

Hi there! I saw your post occasionaly. Thats the standard model of braziliam expedicionary force (força expedicionária brasileira), and it was used until 1995 in Brazilian Army. My granfa fought in italy, so I have 3 of them here. I suppose US army gave all this class of material as the brazilians reaxhed in Napoles. The colt revolver was not used: the dotation was standard Colt 1911 (I have one too). You can see more pictures using the query "colt brasonada 1937" (the year of contract). About uniform pieces, just google "feb segunda guerra", "força expedicionária brasileira", etc. sorry about the english. Regards from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Thanks for the info. Rich A. in Pa.
