US 1948 dated Y-strap suspender - any good?
Article about: Hi All, After collecting WW2 and Cold War gear - I might try to get into the Korean War & collect some US gear as well. I saw this 1948 dated US "Y-strap" here in Hungary - but

i just picked up same but dated 50s they look same.

It looks fine. Certainly WWII and early postwar gear can be displayed as Korean War era, since large amounts of WWII-era equipment was used in the 1950s and well beyond. Nice example!

Nothing wrong with it, can't really comment on the price though.

Looks ok to me, price I would say is comparable given it is post ww2. So if this is what you want to collect I'd say grab it.
