US 1956 Pattern Canteen Cover

Picked this one up at the gun show for $5,`56 pattern made in `63.

Nice cover is the canteen postwar?and is the cup present too............

The cup is marked Vollrath 1962,the canteen is a 1910 side-welded style,but is stamped Taiwan.

I Believe this is the wrong canteen for the cup Taiwan I believe made more civilian and boy scout canteens I don't believe they made military canteens
