these were made after the pattern m-1956 which had cloth straps to be stuck in rectangular slots riveted to the pouch,,,actual date of issue may be 1960's or later,,,it is not uncommon in combat areas to use whatever equipment works for the individual soldier & fits their need...

The look to me like ALICE mag pouches, so mid to late 70's.Later replaced with LC1...Definitly not 'Nam issue.Is there anything printed inside the lid?

It has a bunch of numbers but they are hard to read

Thats a shame because those numbers would give you a date for the pouches.
Going by the colour i reckon they date from around the early to mid 90's?
