US Signal Pistol Mark 5 Sedgley 1944

I picked up a good condition Signal Pistol to add to the collection. This flare gun is a pretty common item and 1944 a common date. One thing to look for is the lanyard ring which is frequently missing. The holsters for these are not as common. The flares are also not commonly found in my area. A good example for future reference.

The you for all the comments. Sedgley made the Mark 5 from 1942 -1944. The only other maker, Vulcan, made the Mark 5 only in 1945. Sedgley made several other items as well.
