BTW, NSN stands for NATO Stock Number NOT NATIONAL Stock Number

It states on the item made Jan 1984 '1/84'-try putting the stock no. in on Google and see what comes up-I did that with a nylon holster I bought as a mystery item in its original paper bag packaging-turned out it was for the US Army flyers survival vest for a .38 revolver.
