USN S&W Victory Model Revolver Shoulder Holster
Hello, check out my new USN shoulder holster. It's designed for the S&W Victory model revolver and fit my S&W Police model #10 like a glove. The leather is amazingly supple and all the closures work fine. Unfortunately the belt loop is missing. There is a slit in front of the trigger guard, not sure what it's for. I threaded the strap through it but it makes it almost impossible to pull the gun out.

Nice holster. Now you only need a Victory revolver like this one to go with it.
I would love one ! Great piece.

Thank you.
Now all I need is a holster like that one.
I do have a flap holster but not a shoulder holster.

I think the 'slot' is just for relief of the leather at that area. Unless it really
is for the strap to go through - possibly for safe/extended
carry - but I've not heard of that being the case.
Nice holster, and nice pistols boys.........!

the slot is part of the design to help the holster expand and conform to the pistol so it can be pulled out more easily with the extra relief cut, the M7 used for the M1911 also has the relief cut , trigger guard relief
I dont think it was designed for a strap to pass through, more of an expansion relief cut
