Yep agree French TC38, usually in a pale blue or green metal canister - Most seem to date from the 1930s & these and the "civilian duty" version turn up all the time on French carboots and in the junk shops - usually around 25 Euros - though like so many things in France condition seems to make no difference and I have seem them from total junk & without a case to mint & in their case at this price - mind you I have also seen them in brocantes near areas with battlefields & monuments, described as WWI and over 100 Euros!
