Article about: Need help in identifing this vietnam Era type backpack. The only thing i can find close is a X-frame used by airbourne. Its marked by a dsa 67. And U.S on the front strap. Any help would be

    Looks like something made from parts, maybe by a rigger or the surplus industry? Shoulder straps are ex-M1956 suspenders.

    Agree..made from parts of other stuff..i'm sure I can see 'assembly, riser' on your fourth pic.Now the question is was this Military made or civilian?
