    Of the two in black felt one has a pronounced flare to the neck and blue enamel, the other later green enamel. The carrier is dated 1918.

    Any info on the left hand example would be nice. Marked "Boots" and in a very unusual carrier. Either it was available to buy from Boots or it was used by their staff.

    The unusual carrier on the left looks like an ARP carrier, as Boots were a large company they possibly had their own ARP.

    Yes I thought that, I bought it near Nottingham and that's where their main office/factory was.
