WW1 GB or US Boots ?

I get it together with german Boots . Can you help my identify it ? .

I can read inside "Waterproof" .

They're similar to dispatch rider boots. I don't know about the US but I wouldn't have thought the Brit military would buy waterproof boots for rank and file service personnel.

I don't think they date to WWI. Could they be post 1945 European army motorbike boots or police issue?
