WW2 Biscuit ration tin

Article about: Tactical coissants maybe? I'll have to get a pic of my biscuit box up.Its dated 1948.

    Looks like the biscuit tin that came in the 14 man compo ration box. The ww2 tins had a lid like on a tin of paint but the post war ones had a tear off lid but its difficult to tell from your picture which you have.

    Hi Guys, I have been away over the weekend, so slow to reply here.

    It is WW2 British Army issue from what I can see. I like it!

    I have a similar one complete with large circular lid.

    The Metal Box Co used a factory number location code on all their products. Sadly I used to have a list of these, now lost
