WWII flight Camera

Picked this up today. I dont know why I bought it .( I must be sick)From the little I looked up on the net its WWII and held by a crew member and he took the photo out the window. The yellow lens has a crack but other then that it looks to be in good shape. Gary

or is it a filter ?

Hi Steve I think your right it is a filter . Rich this addiction is tough I have no ideal what I'm going to do with this thing. If I go up on my roof I could take photos of the next neighbourhood .4md I think it has photos of the D-day landing still in it and the filter must have been damaged by a flak burst . PS I also have a bridge for sale.
