Cool. I have seen and own 2 M1 Garand scabbards, but see very few of the carbine ones. The Thompson ones are even tougher to find around here.
I think Sarco makes replicas of them and you see a lot on restored military vehicles. But a real good find would love to get one for mine.
Very rare piece of American field gear the repros are even bringing some good money nice find
Good find in very nice condition.
Unfortunatly one of the two straps is missing with the brass carabiners.

Very nice! That one was made just 10 minutes down the road from me at the Jeffersonville Quartermaster Depot! You don't see too much that came from the J.Q.M.D.
