I thought Red Top initially, but looking again I think it's a Firestreak, the nose cone is different than Red Top.

Edit: Beat me to it Diver! I seem to remember that this was eventually dropped in favour of Sidewinder.

It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.

I only ever seem to come across bits of red top, and way too much as soon as you show interest.

You should have seen the look on my wife's face, when I said I need the other bit...what other bit?...the Plane I said!

I don't know too much on the history, have not read up on it. I was Rapier Operator in RAF Regiment, but dare I get a system for the garden?

I was quite lucky as to the prices of things, especially the no 5 bayonet. i should have had the courage of my convictions and bought the vickers hmg, it finished at £1100. which seems cheap to me. But I don't think it would go in my office.
