In fighting on the approaches to Danzig, Comrade Ibrogimov proved himself a bold, capable commander. On 26thMarch, 1945 near the populated area of Brentau the enemy assumed the counterattack several times to seize advantageous positions.
Positioned directly in the midst of the rifle company’s fighting formations Comrade Ibragimov capably maneuvered the machineguns so that the enemy’s attacks were repelled successfully causing him heavy losses. In the hardest moments Comrade Ibragimov positioned himself behind a machinegun and fired upon the enemy.
