Private Afanasiy Ivanovich Mashkovskiy was born 1908 and was awarded a Bravery Medal March 31st, 1945 as a Sapper in the 2nd Engineering Squad of the 64th Independent Motorized Engineering Brigade as part of the 18th Motorized Engineering “Warsaw” Order of Aleksandr Nevsky Brigade of the 2nd Guards Tank Army. Note Major Kuznetsov signed the Bravery Medal Citation.
Private Mashkovskiy was also awarded a Capture of Berlin Medal (document #A094172) on June 6th, 1945. He is number 72.

I got this 'thank you' in a odd lot of several things, which appear to belong to at least 3 different people!
I posted a cigarette case with a name I cannot find as well which would be surprising in that case.
