So I was trying to color an Soviet Air Force Major photo. This was one of my first times. I'm not an very patient guy, so there can be mistakes with the colors and outlines, but I just wanted to share this with you fellow history buffs.

For some reason uploading the JPEG distorts the colors in the photo. Oh well, I will try later
Simply amazing. Some skill you have. Thanks for showing.

Thank you Phil!
Awesome man! For one of your first times, this is really fantastic. Wayyy better than my first attempts!! haha
As a fellow colorizer, May I suggest colorizing the lips...usually using the same color you used for the skin, but in a different opacity. Also, eyes make a photo come alive.....so don't be afraid to spend some time on the eyes. Both pupils and iris.
Ive noticed you have already found out how to use the "soft light" function....which is a HUGE part of colorizing these old photos. Great job, and please feel free to add to our colorizing thread in the German photos section if you decide to do any German pics.
Thank you for the compliments and tips Bill! Do you know how to make the white on the eyes stand out better? I will mostly colorize Soviet, German and Finnish pics.
